de Utilizator Firefox 15097235, 2 ani în urmăLOVE this extension!
Yup, it's simple, and it's great for keeping organized!
I have a group for "general", one for school, and one each for whatever games I might be into. (Right now Satisfactory and BattleBit.)
Super amazingly convenient to have these tab groups ready to go. They are much more flexible and easy to adjust than a bookmarks folder. Just right click a tab and send it to a group, or use the pop-up, or the manager.
You can even choose to hibernate tabs/groups (or not), but they'll still be "open" for later use. You can have a tab loaded and running some demanding applet, but still get it out of the tab bar so you can focus on something else momentarily. It's amazing.
Some of these functions are available in other extensions like Sidebery, but again I like this one for the Simple aspect. I use this in tandem with Tab Center Reborn for a (again, simple) vertical tabs sidebar, and now my toolkit of tab management is versatile yet lightweight, and still in dark mode!
I nearly forgot that sadly I'm here to comment on a pet peeve. The tab overflow icon, that little arrow managed by the about:config preference browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled, is for some reason inescapable when using this extension, unless you are in the "other tabs" misc group which defeats the purpose.
Something to do with the behavior of the arrow: it is only supposed to appear if you have many tabs, but with this extension I can close all my tabs and just having the tab groups active even when empty shows the arrow. Small irk, very silly for me to be frustrated by, but there you go.
I don't know if I could possibly work around this using the extension's settings, I haven't tried, and I don't know if it could be patched by the extension dev to behave differently. So it's definitely still a 5 star extension. I love all the other stuff it has going for it.
Thanks Drive4ik for the great extension!!
BTW Mr. Dev, if you're reading, any chance for a feature like "automatically discard previous group when switching groups"? Or maybe a button that will switch to a group and discard other groups at the same time? My machine is not super strong and I run multiple apps at once, so it's usually best for me to hibernate inactive groups, and it's tedious to right click -> "discard other groups" all the time. Thanks!

- Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede Trent Meyer, 4 zile în urmăWhen it works, great extension. Can't close Firefox though as I always lose my tab groups. When manually restoring from a backup, Firefox will just crash. I end up trying several backups before one finally loads my tabs, and of course they're not the exact ones I want.

- Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede SeiferFlo, 11 zile în urmăThis is by far the best tab grouping app available. It offers unmatched flexibility and customization compared to anything else on the market. Unfortunately, it’s been broken for months. Even when I manage to get it working temporarily, it often loses my saved groups or fails to restore them properly. The restore feature is inconsistent at best.
It seems Firefox updates may have caused compatibility issues, which is understandable, but I wish the developer had continued maintaining it. This app is leagues ahead of Firefox’s recent native tab grouping, which feels limited and clunky by comparison.
I’m holding off on uninstalling it because I still hope for a fix. The moment it’s stable again, I’ll gladly update my rating to 5 stars. - Evaluat(ă) cu 4 din 5 stelede Utilizator Firefox 16291059, 19 zile în urmăAlmost everything I could possibly want, and it almost brings Firefox up to parity with OperaGX's workspaces (though it surpasses it in others). Almost.
Pinned tabs and Firefox's native tab groups tend to 'leak' (for lack of a better term) through the groups in this extension. - Evaluat(ă) cu 4 din 5 stelede Gabiru, 19 zile în urmăUnfortunately no longer working with Floorp browser version 144.0.2@12.3.5

- Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede Gluttony, o lună în urmăI was loving this, until I lost all groups when coming back to work today, all was fine Friday... I'll try redoing them, and after looking in options I saw there are backup/restore options, I hope it works, else I'll have to fine something else.
Edit: finally I saw there are automatic backups and was able to restore last one, give 4 stars, not 5 that would have been if I did not lost all groups in the first time.
Edit again: I should have looked better, yes all my groups have been restored, counters of tabs seems good, but there are missing tabs, when I change group it just jumps to a tab keeping others (from other groups) open, and do other weird stuff... And now its even worse that before I restored... Too sad... - Evaluat(ă) cu 3 din 5 stelede Utilizator Firefox 10019882, o lună în urmăBasic functions work: in management mode, drag & drop one tab list item to another group; switch to group. The biggest problem is memory usage after long time usage of Firefox v 143 on a Mac Tahoe (not sure of other OS). The memory usage jumped from around 1GB to 7GB after upgrading MacOS to Tahoe version. In the background, must be keeping other OLD tabs in groups already closed but still open (not sure contents of pages already loaded). When I disabled this extension, suddenly more than 20 tabs popped out when total opened tab in all groups were about 7. Plus, Firefox now has implemented tab grouping feature same as Chrome: to collapse tabs into 1 group tab.
