Unfortunately, as soon as I select "import" from the addon menu, Firefox crashes :-(

I admit, I've used only 2 tab managers, but I worked 30 yrs in systems + pc programming. This organizer is strange at best or the documentation need considerable improvement. Why will this add-on not simply save tab groups AND then open a selected group in FF one at a time without without loading every bookmark ever saved into the resulting group. It seems this manager is only good for simple tab group needs. Is there a command to save the current group and then reload a selected group into FF? I have not been able to do it after about 8 hrs effort.

Literally the first thing that happened when trying out the add-on was it closed every single tab I had open. OK... there's no way to restore any of the tabs I had open. OK... that was a quick trial run, with a quick crash and burn.

Just wish you could switch tabs from a group to another and that the menu showed the amount of open tabs next to 'current group:'.

A good effort, still plagued by the bad user interface and some stupid limitations.
WE WANT TO MOVE TABS AROUND! I understand it might not be possible the old Tab Groups way. Still, you can make it possible (now is almost prohibited) by this sooo simple tweak:
MAKE THE TAB URLS EDITABLE AND ADD A "NEW TAB" FUNCTION at the Edit group tab and we will simply COPY-PASTE THE URLS without having to leave the active tab group. IT IS THAT SIMPLE!!!!
Also, it would be nice if you made possible a scheduled Export function, we wouldn't fear that we could lose our tab groups for some weird reason.

CAVEAT: My review isn't based on how the add-on functions - but rather the responsiveness and helpfulness of the add-on author.

I was frustrated, trying to migrate my groups from the Tab Groups add-on (which doesn't work in FF 57) and completely confused by the instructions. I sent a support email(s/he added helpful information to the About section for the extension, two alternatives for those in my position, and even a third option in the email to me.

With such a positive response to my negative email - I'm certain users of this add-on will find the developer equally responsive to questions and suggestions.

This add-on has potential with some more development.
Cons: Very difficult to move tab from one group to another. Would have though you could have moved tab around in edit, but cannot see how you can. Slows Firefox when loading a group that you have many tabs in group. It seems to load each one before response is back to normal. No Drag and Drop. Does not show the favicon in edit or quick list view. Open a new window and pinned tabs are not included.
Pros: Nice edit layout. Works with 57.x

This interface is unusable. I cannot figure out how to move my tabs into different tab groups, every time I try to switch tab groups it seems to generate another tab group for just the one tab. Needs way better tab management if it's going to handle my tab load on over 75 open tabs at any given time.

There are a lot of errors in the extension

1) Do not save the name of current tabs group where FF is closing!!!
2) When i use SWITCH, other tabs closing (if i listen music on youtube.com & switch to other group tab, youtube closing, no music)

For example^ i create the 2 groups - "Autostart" and "Travels". I put any different tabs in this groups. If i have active group "Autostart" and turn off/on FF, tabs from "Autostar"t will be loaded, but in the button's menu i will see only "Travels" and "Current group:"

I finding replacement after Tab Groups addon (https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/tab-groups-panorama) like many people using FF. But for this time there are missing many important features like keyboard shortcut, global preview (I using mainly for finding specific tab).
It addon is good, but its not enough for me now. Maybe use later.

Current 2.0.0 version is very buggy and not usable:
- It has problems with local Firefox urls like about:preferences. If you have left open those urls it will brake all of it.
- It loads some tabs randomly as a junk urls.
- It reloads ALL tabs when switching and not only the active tab in that group

Better use some other addon until waiting for Tab Groups Reloaded or similar version to be ported for Firefox Quantum.

Nice idea, but unreliable and buggy when switching between groups (isn't that the main functionality of this?) and most horrible usability i've seen in a long time.

Nice - but missing an option to NOT load all tabs when switching to a group (e.g. option like load only last active tab of group). This makes switching between groups with more than 5 tabs really slow.

Can you please add possibility to import tab groups from Tab Groups addon (https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/tab-groups-panorama)? I want to migrate. Thanks.

But why empty tabs 'about:new' aren't saved :/ ?
And a shortcut to switch would be appreciated

Good start. I miss a keyboard shortcut to easily switch to another group.
It would be better to keep the hidden groups in cache instead of having to reload the tabs each time we switch to a hidden group.
I have to re-log in and confirm leaving the page for several websites.
Containers are not respected.
