I also moved to this addon after SuperStop stopped working. This works really well, and does what it says, so I definitely recommend it. I would like to see a small options page though, with the ability to disable the Paused/Resumed toast. Also, SuperStop used Shift+ESC as a dedicated hotkey, I would love to see that implemented in Togglifiic as well. Thanks so much for making this great addon!

Switched to this after SuperStop ironically stopped working. Togglific works well with one caveat: Please add an option to disable the "Animation Paused!/Resumed!" notifications. I find them obtrusive and unnecessary.

Update: this extension doesn't seem to work on the macOS (Big Sur, MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) version of Firefox 138.0.4. At least the button doesn't appear on the toolbar. I can't figure out how to make the button available.

Update 2: the keyboard shortcut works: Shift-Command-X but the button is missing.

Mozilla decided to prevent ending animated gifs from extensions in Firefox (96?) and well extension Superstop which I relied on stopped working and a review there mentioned this extension and it's the only one that can still stop this crap. Mozilla keeps doing bad design to make Firefox worse and worse (mostly to make the browser run slower and slower). Hopefully the developer keeps the extension working.

Can the uppermost animations at this site be suppressed?
