Great visual bookmarks extension! It would be helpful to have the option to disable the "What's New" notifications, as they repeat continuously even when there are no updates. Additionally, it would be great to be able to paste an image as a website preview through the context menu.

PS. When you press right click on tiles you can "Upload from computer", but it would be more useful to paste image from clipboard "Upload from clipboard", after you take a screenshot or copy image from another page.

The notification works correctly, it only appears after the extension is updated but remains active until the user views or closes it. It's important that the user either views or closes it because the update may contain important information.

Could you please clarify what you meant regarding the image through the context menu? I didn't quite understand that part.

Update: I understand what you mean, we'll do it, I agree, it's a useful feature.

Update2: Sorry, it didn't last long. I have to remove it due to many complaints about the permission to access the clipboard. If it's possible to request permission from the user in Firefox, I will bring it back later. For now, it's been removed.

Great extension, reactive developer and very easy to customize with CSS. Example: if you want more than 10 columns, a short CSS code will allow you to customize it the way you want.

Have been using a lot of "new tab"/"speed dial" extensions along the years, and this is the first that 1) allows you to have total control, and relies only on your bookmarks 2) is available on all browsers 3) is lightweight 4) supports folders.

Pro tip: On firefox, if you want to open certain bookmarks with a Firefox container, you can do so by adding the shortcuts on the fast access panel on the upper right (if the panel is not active it's one of the first General options). Those panel shortcuts can be opened with Firefox containers with a right click.

Created an account just to review - honestly one of the best extensions, nothing like it anywhere. It can handle 1000s of bookmarks and can enlarge thumbnails for true gallery viewing. Beats raindrop or even pinterest for my use. Thanks for all your work Ivan

How can I set the visual bookmarks as the homepage? If not, how can I create a shortcut from the desktop to go straight to it. I want to use this as my start page and not the regular start page from Mozilla.

Try setting it in your browser preferences:

1) To find the URL of the extension, open the extension's settings page (click the gear icon in the top-left corner). You’ll see the URL of the settings page(in the address bar), which will look something like this:
moz-extension://1f5e2951-cc18-45bc-ab08-e3d37f733710/options.html
Replace the options part of the URL with newtab, so it becomes:
moz-extension://your_extension_id/newtab.html

2) Then, type the following into the address bar:
about:preferences#home
There, you’ll find the field called "Home page and new windows".
Paste the modified URL from step one into that field - moz-extension://your_extension_id/newtab.html

an improvement i can think of is an option to add separator lines in folders so that it can be more organized.

Отличное расширение. Пользуюсь им около двух лет. Установил и в Edge и в Firefox. Лёгкое, интуитивно понятное и само подтягивает иконки для сайтов. Без него уже и не представляю серфинг. Спасибо разработчику.

Отлично. Только одно плохо, свои миниатюры не подстраиваются под область миниатюры и получается то сверху полосы, то по бокам. А было бы вообще круто, если для популярных сайтов он автоматом подтягивал уже готовую миниатюру, а не просто скриншот.

Very convenient! It'd be even easier with some kind of batch edit. Multi-select and delete or update thumbnails, that kind of thing. But definitely a great addon.

Хотелось бы иметь функционал самому загрузить иконку сайта, так как авто загрузка иногда выдает иконку плохого качества.

Также хотелось бы иметь функционал изменения цветов иконки папок

Этот функционал уже есть, Вы можете загружать собственное изображение для сайта.

Папки сейчас можно раскрасить, только вручную своими стилями в настройках. Не уверен, что буду добавлять такую опцию в будущем.

Отличное расширение, только очень не хватает поисковой строки с возможностью выбора поисковой системы или использованием дефолтной, установленной в браузере.

Лучшее ввиду отсутствия аналогично удобных аналогов. Но не удобно смотреть при определенных размерах шрифта - теряются окончания названия страниц ссылок. Решабельно правкой настроек дополнения.

Лучшее расширение которое берет сразу закладки прямо из библиотеки, а не как в остальных самостоятельно нужно создавать. Внешне напоминает стартовую страницу Оперы 12.18
Единственное неудобство что при запуске браузера изначально следует стартовая страница FF которую нельзя заменить на страницу закладок
