I don't know if these are true but one things certain. It didn't work. Somewhere deep inside me is saying that they just don't update it anymore. Well whatever the case. It didn't work then and i bet it doesn't work now. We need something reliable. Not let an "Acceptable Ads initiative" Ruin what an ad blocker is supposed to do.

There seems to be some misunderstandings about our Acceptable Ads Initiative. Users are still in control, and can disable “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this option disabled, please be advised that these are more than likely NOT Acceptable Ads. In these cases please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org. We are usually able to get these reported to the filter list team and resolved. Rest assured no company can pay us to have their ads shown. Publishers have to meet the criteria set by the Acceptable Ads Committee before being considered. Most companies actually pay us nothing at all. - Оценено на 1 из 5от Nosmo King, 4 года назадI used to use this, and it served me well. Not only did it block ads, it let me choose annoying elements, like the spaces where ads were, to block entirely.
Sadly, since I let Firefox install the 100.0 iteration, Adblock Plus does basically NOTHING. Well, OK, it lets me install it, but does nothing afterward. Since there's no "Contact us" for ABP, I can't even tell 'em their addon is broken.
So, maybe they'll eventually realize the problem, and if they fix it, I'll revise this review. For now, however, it gets one star. I'd give it NO stars if I could.Ответ разработчика

Thanks for contacting us! After some research, we've found that some users are experiencing ads due to "always use private mode" enabled. Try disabling this option and let us know if you still have issues. To do this, click the settings menu icon in the right corner of the browser > settings >privacy & security > scroll down to the history section > choose "Use custom settings for history" from the drop down menu > uncheck "always use private browsing mode".
