Privacy Policy Business Attendance Browser Extension

This extension exists for one job: moving data between BNI Connect Global and your Business Attendance workspace.

Sign-in
When you log in through the popup, your email and password go to the Business Attendance API over HTTPS. The password isn't stored anywhere. The API returns a session token, which lives in your browser's extension storage so you don't have to log in again every time you open the popup.

Profile sync
When you click "Sync" on a BNI Connect profile page, the extension reads the fields on that page — name, photo, contact info, business details — and sends them to your chapter's workspace. Attendance sync works the same way: it reads the attendance form on the page, then pushes it to the platform.

Where it runs
Only on bniconnectglobal.com and bni-romania.com. Nowhere else. The extension can't see your other tabs, can't read your browsing history, and isn't watching what you do online. On any other site it's effectively asleep.

What's not happening
No analytics, no telemetry, no ad trackers, no data brokers. Nothing leaves the extension except the specific information you tell it to sync, and that goes only to your own chapter's Business Attendance workspace.

Who can see your data
Your chapter's leadership (President and Vice President) and you, through the role-based permissions on the platform. Business Attendance staff don't pull chapter data unless you ask us to (e.g. a support request).

Removing your data
Sign out from the popup to revoke the session token. Uninstall the extension to clear local storage. To delete profile data that already reached the platform, use the account deletion option in your workspace settings.
