only removes bar on the right, not the left. doesn't reclaim space. needs updating

I've been using this for years and I'm sure it's saved me many hours of my life, keeping me from spiraling down StackExchange rabbit holes. Thanks so much to the author for all those hours of my life!

Works as advertised and saves me a lot of distraction. Would be even better if it blocked "Featured on Meta" and "Hot Meta Posts".
