размещено 7 лет назадHi, Beard! I'm not sure where you got the idea that we collect user data. We do not collect any personally identifiable information on the vast majority of our users. As our privacy policy states, "If all you do is use the extension then you're practically, except for an anonymous, unique ID, invisible to us."
For the 0.1% of our users who donate (again from our privacy policy), "we collect and store all information, excluding the credit card number, given during the payment process. This includes IP address, unique ID, logging some of the button clicks (payment, download buttons) and user event logging. AdBlock does not handle or have access to full credit card numbers, bank account details or payment account login information."

размещено 7 лет назадHi! This can happen with any add-ons. It's usually a browser issue, not a problem with the add-on. Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies, restart Firefox, and try installing AdBlock again. If that doesn't work, it may be a conflict with another add-on. Disable all of them and try installing AdBlock again.

Can you please restart your computer, then visit https://getadblock.com and install AdBlock from there? размещено 7 лет назадThere are a few ways to tell AdBlock to not block an add -- you can use the Pause button or if it's a page you'd like to visit regularly you can whitelist a page (which also tells AdBlock not to run on that page).

I HAVE SPENT DAYS AND HOURS AND HOURS CALLING ALL OVER TRYING TO GET FIREFOX TO STOP BLOCKING. EVEN WITH ALARM FORCE'S PHONE HELP OVER 6 TIMES CAN NOT LOG ON EITHER.

размещено 7 лет назадHi. I'm happy to try to help. Pausing AdBlock temporarily disables all the filter lists you're subscribed to, one of which is most likely preventing you from logging in to that site.
If you still can't get in with AdBlock paused, then AdBlock is not blocking the site. Firefox's built-in tracking protection is probably the culprit. (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Privacy/Tracking_Protection)
If you turn off Firefox Tracking Protection and you *still* can't log in, please try these additional troubleshooting steps: https://help.getadblock.com/solution/articles/6000161397-i-turned-off-adblock-or-whitelisted-a-site-or-i-don-t-have-an-ad-blocker-but-the-site-still-asks-me

размещено 7 лет назадThanks for letting us know. Oftentimes, high memory usage like this can be the result of having a large number of filter lists enabled. Do you happen to know how many you have enabled? If it's more than 3 or 4, you can experiment with some of the filter lists to see if that helps.
