For the ads appearing on Facebook, there may not be a whole lot we can do. Facebook has both "sponsored posts" and regular advertisements. However, only the latter are considered actual ads that we can block.

Facebook goes to great lengths to ensure that their sponsored posts remain unblocked, and they have an entire department dedicated to circumventing ad blockers. That said, we're constantly on the lookout for ways to make ABP better and continue to look for ways to get around Facebook's enormous ad blocking circumvention efforts.

We're aware that YouTube has been intermittently testing strategies to show either ads or their anti-adblocking wall. If you are seeing a brief display of an add, these are related to our efforts to stop adds on YouTube. However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing. Please try the following steps:
1 - Signing out of your YouTube account
2 - Make sure you haven't added YouTube to your allowlisted websites
