🏗 Scene Builder & Gallery — Your profile is now a canvas. Spend a new currency, Chips, on desks, monitors, floppy disks, modems, and other loot, then drag, stack, and arrange them into a scene that's unmistakably yours. Browse the new Community Gallery to see what others built.

🎖 Season 1 Has Begun — Cheevos now runs in Seasons. Season 1 arrives with its own badge system and a dedicated /seasons lore page.

🏆 Dozens of New Achievements — New ladders for daily streaks and account tenure, filled-in counter tiers, and one-shot unlocks. week_warrior and persistence_professional are now free for everyone, and repeat unlocks pay flat XP. Every achievement now has its own page with custom social-share images.

🤝 Bring Your Friends — A first-class invite-friends card on your profile, and the the_recruiter ladder rewards you the moment your first referral lands.

🔔 Smarter Notifications & Email — Same-day streak-at-risk reminders, unlock notifications that lead with the achievement name, leaderboard-rank-change alerts, and an Active Streaks gallery in the popup.

🐛 Fixes & Polish — tab_minimalist unlocks for session-restore users, Party achievements award reliably, offline/internal-page achievements fire correctly, leaderboard shows your neighbors outsidkout renders correctly.

v1.0.9: Cache gets a voice. All 137 achievement descriptions have been rewritten with Cache's personality. New achievements: Deja Vu, Cleanup City, and a secret April Fools unlock. Weekly leaderboard added. Page visit tracking fixed to prevent subframe overcounting. Achievement notifications now show name + XP. Tier-locked cards no longer grayed out.

v1.0.8: Achievement Multiples are here. Earn the same achievement more than once. New achievements: Globe Trotter (browsing from different locations), Wiki Boomerang/Ouroboros/Vortex (Wikipedia cycles), and Cheevos anniversary milestones. Progress bars on long-duration achievements. Colorized rank medals. Clicking achievement notifications now opens your profile. Various bug fixes and stability improvements.

v1.0.7: The Doodle Update

Complete visual redesign with hand-drawn doodle art and new fonts (Sour Gummy + Nunito). New free themes: Nightscape (now default), Foxy, and Dino. 9 new site-group achievements + Tab Minimalist achievements for keeping under 5 tabs. Bug fixes for Lonely Fox, Dino, and Clockwork streak achievements.

What's New in 1.0.6:
- New Tab Minimalist achievements (20-100 XP) for keeping your tab count under 5 for 1h, 4h, or 8h straight.
- User avatars now sync from your Google account.
- Fixed achievements not triggering on single-page apps (Gmail, Fastmail, etc).
- Better browser version detection including pre-release channels.
- Various performance improvements and bug fixes.

✨ Refined Player Experience
* Smart Notifications: Achievement unlocks are now intelligently debounced. If you’re on a hot streak, your notification tray stays clean and focused instead of spamming alerts.
* Perfect XP Sync: We resolved a discrepancy where the extension popup occasionally showed different XP totals than the web dashboard. Your progress is now perfectly aligned across all platforms.
* Grid Intelligence: Earned achievements now automatically float to the top of your quest log for easier review. We've also removed the duplicate the_zoomer entry.

🔧 Performance & Security
* Leaner Footprint: We’ve removed unused font assets, reducing the extension's size by nearly 1MB for a faster, lighter installation.
* Snappier UI: The achievements grid has been optimized with new memoization logic, making scrolling and filtering significantly smoother.
* Clean Logout: Fixed an issue where signing out could leave "ghost" data in memory or trigger re-authentication loops. When you sign out now, the slate is wiped completely clean.

🕵️ Expanded Quests
* Mozilla Credits: The "Credits Due" achievement has been expanded to trigger when you visit the official Mozilla credits page at www.mozilla.org/credits.
