Defaults to save to my choice (Bookmarks Menu) not "Other Bookmarks" -

At some point, I'll try to find out what Other Bookmarks is and why every time I try to clean it up it seems to make a mess again as if it's synchronising it with some folder I had since 2013.

This is the best addon. It fixes an infuriating and stupid change.

In life, change is good.

It can be beneficial to get out of your comfort zone and broaden your horizons.

But when it comes to browsing the internet, change is bad. Having to adapt to new configurations every software upgrade is dumb, and stupid. and dumb.

Worked Like A Charm!

Simple and Worked Exactly As Described.

I was SO stressed out because at first before I knew the default was changed from Bookmarks Menu to Other Bookmarks (without any notice) I couldn't find my most recent bookmarks. I figured out that it was in Other Bookmarks but had no idea how to change the default setting from Other Bookmarks to the original Bookmarks Menu.

Thank you! Works wonderfully; one of the worst things about Firefox is that it defaults bookmarks to Other Bookmarks and doesn't let you change it.

I tried several similar add-ons, but this one is the best, because it doesn't introduce new things, it just improves the built-in way of saving bookmarks in Firefox.

Suggestion (please): The same behavior modification is needed in another critical location... the Library window (Ctrl-Shift-B). In this window, Firefox now defaults to selecting "Other Bookmarks" in the left pane... and that's a real pain :)

This auto-selecting of the last entry on the list (Other Bookmarks) doesn't seem logical.

Now I have to select a category in the left pane, and then tab or click over to the right pane.

The Library's behavior should be corrected to once again select "All Bookmarks" by default in the left pane, with the focus initially set in the right pane to the top selection (Bookmarks Toolbar).

This shouldn't need to be an app. It should be an option or bookmarks should default to the last choice made. Fuck the Other Bookmarks Folder. I lost so much shit because I was used to old behavior.
