It's no longer working with stories (vids+pics)

Hi, as of October 29th 2024, Insta Media Downloader is not working on Firefox properly, especially with stories. I am using Firefox 132.0.. Thank you.

My normal download doesn't work with videos after new IG update. Hope this one keeps working.

When working the app deserves the five stars I gave. I tested a lot of similars, this one is the best. But Instagram is constantly changing things and from time to time, the app need to be updated to follow the changes made. The 20 of october 2024, I cannot download videos in the feed, and can't download stories too. Hoping hawkynawa will update the app. soon. With thanks for the work done.

Makes instagram super super slow

Broken for a few days now. It is not showing the images even. Please fix it ASAP.

Also it broke instagram loading a couple of days back but very fast fix and now it is good.

This is a great add-on and I consider it an essential tool for Instagram use....but sometimes Insta updates their code and the add-on breaks. Most recent update (1.3.8) seems to work OK for now.
[update] July 10 - one other reviewer stated an issue with warnings from Insta "We suspect automated behavior on your account. To prevent your account from being temporarily restricted or permanently disabled..." I also received this warning earlier today, and now my Instagram account has been suspended. Suggest if you get this warning, disable this extension ASAP, see if it helps.

I've been using this add-on for years and it works great but recently I've been getting warnings from Instagram with the following message: "We suspect automated behavior on your account. To prevent your account from being temporarily restricted or permanently disabled, ensure that no other users or tools have access to your account and that you're following our Terms of Use. Also consider changing your password to a stronger one to prevent unauthorized access to your account by third parties."

Rocks when it works BUT there are times when the download doesnt work at video or at picture stories and the biggest problem is that I get scrap and automation warnings from IG when I use the addon. This automation and scrap issue is very annoying with it.

A great app. Unfortunately, the following problem is currently that needs to be fixed: For saved posts and reels in collections, the download symbol is only displayed on every 3rd link. Please update. Otherwise a great app

Update 08/02/2024: This beautiful addon once again stopped working completely:
For a few days before it helped to change from the "timeline view" by clicking on the number of commentaries to switch to the "single post view overlay" to get things working.
Since 2-3 days this doesn't help anymore. The "download" und "multiple download"- icons are still visible, but clicking on them does nothing.
