Extremely slow and unreliable. "Preparing report" to update the review rating has been running for several minutes, with no end in sight, and simply getting to the ratings page takes forever and sometimes fails with messages like "SSL handshake failed." I will now remove the extension.

If the review doesn't exist (seems like I haven't found one yet), it just takes you to their website which is usually overloaded and doesn't work.

DOnt work. You wait for several minutes without anything happening. If you are lucky, you get "Item could not be found" after a few minutes.

Reviewmeta website is extremely slow. When it finally loads, it just displays "Item could not be found". Click "Check again" button and waited about 10 minutes for it to go through all of its "gathering data" and "preparing report" prompts until it finally displayed "Item could not be found" again. "Click here to check for the product on Amazon" loads the product page. So, this extension appears to be useless.

Originally worked well. Now rarely. Just reports heavy traffic or can't find the item. (Mac Ventura user)

When it works, it's great. "When it works".

Their server is awful. Most often I get server time outs. When it DOES connect to their server, there's decent odds it's going to tell me that it couldn't find the item.

Dec 2024: Installed it, but the icon is nowhere and not usable.

it was great when it worked, but considering it abruptly shut down with no warning, its not as good. dont download this, its completely useless.

I'm sure it would be a great extension if it worked.

Don't waste your time. This add-on doesn't work. Their servers have been down for over a month.

This extension has been down more than it is up. I enjoyed this extension but the fact that it is down means that I will delete this extension.

I like this more than FakeSpot. It gives more actionable data - a revised score, rather than a grade of score strength. Sure, the reviews can get a "C" but ... should I buy the product? ReviewMeta at least adjusts the total score to something meaningful.
However, recently, the service was down for weeks with 0 communications or explanations. I would kind of expect better of a service I start to rely on. At least it is up and running again - for now.
