UnTrail is a lightweight privacy extension for Firefox that automatically cleans URLs and stops trackers in them before they can load.

Many websites attach tracking parameters to their links in order to follow your activity. Like this:
https://example.com?utm_source=newsletter1&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=sale

That's not necessary for you to to browse the web. UnTrail removes this automatically. It will then look like this:
https://example.com

UnTrail covers all the basics of tracking parameters as well as a curated list of site-specific trackers, like on Amazon, YouTube or Google.

Something doesn't work on a site anymore?
Easy fix, you can set an allowlist of sites for your own needs and prevent breakages - if they even happen.
