- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Ivan, pred 9 hodinamiI write this review with the fact I am a transgender person myself and it's important I state this at the top. People claiming that those rating this 1 star due to THEM being flagged really refuse to do research or prove they're the reason why this is bad. I used to LOVE shinigami eyes and found it helpful back in the day but nowadays I am consistently melt with alot of false flags. of course I do my research into who's being flagged and it's one thing if it's a few and/or far in between however i've been consistently seeing intersex or actual trans women flagged. there may be a bias as I am a tumblr user and that's where most of the false flags happen (with a few on twitter too) but it really does get to a point. if someone has UNKNOWINGLY posted something and thus flagged that is not only incredibly unfair if they actually did unknowingly but just bizarre. while i can understand why shinigami eyes does not list why someone is flagged the way they are for a variety of reasons the blind-eyeing some recent reviews have done without proper in-depth explanation or clear they have a bias on some things is insane.
if you are a trans person, especially a transfem use this app with extreme risk in certain spaces on the fact you will actually encounter false flags or blatant intersexist flags. i do not blame the creators of this extension fully with how many people use this extension on multiple places and devices but i will blame how poorly managed it is on how they go about ignoring some of it's evident issues.
doing personal research is very important of course to see why someone is in the red but if i'm consistently checking other accounts and finding out these are from actual transgender people and especially intersex people who do identify as transgender it makes me question how trustworthy i can consider this extension on being actually helpful or making me want to roll my eyes most of the time. and i do hope those who are consistently giving this 5* while talking down on others "review bombing" this
regardless to everyone curious and actually cares about properly reading reviews from both sides or still using this, i hope you stay safe, please always do your own research and don't go blindly trusting this extension regardless and i really do hope that it's issues can be fixed where i can feel like i can use this extension to actually help me stay safe instead of incorrectly marking my fellow allies and actual trans people because something that is stupid or massflagging. as much as i'd prefer to give this 2-3 stars with my personal issues the fact this is becoming more and more evident and unable to do it's actual job for me i cannot personally keep recommending this to others. you did your job back in the day, shinigami eyes. trust me, you really did, but you just can't anymore. - Hodnotenie: 5 z 5autor: .0, pred 3 dňamihas been helpful to no end in avoiding transphobia online, most 1 star reviews are seemingly from accounts that have unknowingly posted transmisogynistic content and received a warning label as such
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Marla, pred 3 dňamiwent from a tool you could somehow trust in spotting trans positive and transphobic accounts/websites to a transphobic tool itself. i just wonder when exactly you decidet to turn against your own comunity , this is really sad

- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Používateľ Firefoxu - 13505303, pred 7 dňamiIt'd be great if it worked, but it's pretty clear that it doesn't if you go to the tags terfsafe and transandrophobia on tumblr (under "latest" to get the most variety of posters). About 5% of the posters in the terfsafe tag, at an absolute maximum, are marked red, but 30-50% of the posters in the transandrophobia tag are marked red. For reference, transandrophobia is the word used to discuss the unique oppression, discrimination, and experiences that trans men and transmasculine folks face.
I didn't think to check intersex tags, but I've noticed quite a few intersex people I follow are also marked red despite there being absolutely nothing warranting it on their blogs.
So disappointed. - Hodnotenie: 2 z 5autor: sb, pred 7 dňamiI've used Shinigami Eyes on Firefox for several years, beginning around 2020 or 2021. Since then, I've seen a notable shift in the kinds of users marked as anti-trans and trans-friendly on social platforms, most notably Tumblr.
This extension, for what it is worth, is still largely helpful when browsing online to identify public figures, media outlets, and other organizations that platform anti-trans rhetoric by marking articles, news websites, and even Wikipedia pages. This is something that this extension still does well.
However, when it comes to social platform users in queer online spaces, the kinds of users marked anti-trans have completely changed. While an official guide to who should or should not be marked red on Shinigami Eyes, this guideline no longer appears to be relevant. In the past, users were marked pretty reliably based on these rules: someone must be visibly anti-trans and/or a transmisogynist. Today, it appears that users who outwardly support transfeminine (and other trans individuals regardless of identity) are still at risk of being marked anti-trans if they speak against bioessentialism (an emphasis on someone's clinical "s*x") or speak on concerns relating to intersexism. This is strange to me, as transgender and intersex individuals face similar (NOT identical, but overlapping) issues regarding medical autonomy and civil rights.
It seems like the system of Shinigami Eyes is now primarily used to indicate that intersex and otherly-sexed individuals and activists are inherently transmisogynist. I recommend that users who use Shinigami Eyes be extra cautious in vetting who is or is not anti-trans as the extension stands today. - Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Používateľ Firefoxu - 19679627, pred 7 dňamiNot a trans person myself, but this used to be a good litmus test especially when posting in spaces with a lot of trans people. But now half of the red accounts I see are just trans people getting friendly fired over nothing. Pretty much pointless now.
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Používateľ Firefoxu - 19244623, pred 7 dňamiit used to be fine, but nowadays it marks trans men and nonbinary people with red more frequently than transphobes, as well as trans women who speak up on the behalf of trans men and nonbinary people. You're better off avoiding shinigami eyes altogether.
- Hodnotenie: 5 z 5autor: Používateľ Firefoxu - 15657906, pred 7 dňamiit's a simple addon that has always worked perfectly for me. If you want to know how useful it is at identifying "actual" transphobia, just read through the 1 star reviews. If you agree with them that transandrophobia is a serious issue, then you won't get as much use out of this addon as trans women will.

- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: LegatusFlagrans, pred 12 dňamiI've used this extension for many years as a trans woman always on the lookout for who might not be so friendly towards people like me, and for a while it was pretty good.
That's all changed dramatically within the last year. I began recently to notice just how many pages and people and websites were obviously false-flagged as transphobic by the extension, despite clear and overwhelming support for non-cis identities and no record of transphobia to be found. Even the LGBTQIA+ wiki and Pride Flag wiki were being flagged.
And that's when I learned that its creator is a transmedicalist who hates trans men, intersex people, neopronoun users, and people with nonhuman identities, and has been completely on board with its abuse by people with similar bigotries.
I can only conclude that this extension is now totally unreliable for its stated purpose, and now strongly discourage its use by anyone who's looking to actually curate their spaces.
What an absolute waste of what was once a good thing. - Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Fox Fortuna, pred 12 dňamiEnshittified and abused to the point that it is no longer fit for purpose.
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Fr0stBites, pred 14 dňamithis USED to be a good addon and genuinely marked only terfs as red. nowadays it marks literally any transmasc, intersex, or nonbinary person as red for existing and being proud. transfems are also marked red if they post anything about supporting ALL trans people. this addon is FOR terfs at this point 👎
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: RedVelvet, pred 20 dňamiThis app is decent but sometimes is used as a bludgeon by terfs marking the average trans/enby poc red. I won't say to uninstall it but do not implicitly believe that every marking it's ever made is true and unbiased. Sorry, but you're still going to have to do your homework if you want to know if someone is transphobic or not.
- Hodnotenie: 4 z 5autor: beanstalks, pred 23 dňami
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Otter, pred 24 dňamiDoes not work as it claims to. I've seen multiple radfem and well known terf accounts marked green, and vocally pro queer and trans friendly accounts marked red.
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Illusn, pred 24 dňamiIncorrectly marks trans men, nonbinary people and intersex people as anti-trans in a way that can only be malicious
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Venus, pred 25 dňamiWhite transfems can say the most vile transphobic stuff ever and still be marked green, but any poc that's enby/transmasc/2spirit/intersex and calls them out for it gets marked red. Mhm. Uninstalled.
- Hodnotenie: 5 z 5autor: disasterBi, pred 25 dňamiSeeing a few 1 star reviews but I feel like people don't understand that this extension uses people marking accounts as anti-trans/trans friendly to show them as red/green. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had false positives, all you need to do is check people's posts, not whether they're trans themselves.
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: cemetery--drive, pred 25 dňamiThis extension used to be really useful but I've seen multiple trans people who are outspoken advocates for equality get marked red. I think this is becoming more and more easy to abuse. It also seems like specific to Tumblr there is this thing where trans men and nonbinary people specifically are getting marked red which makes me feel really confused and a bit unsafe??? I'll be uninstalling. This is why we can't have nice things...
edit: It also seems like POC are being targeted. Triple, quadruple yikes. - Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: evilbunnytornado, pred 25 dňamikeep seeing intersex people and people who say that trans men face oppression marked red and people who are honest to god using 'theyfab' marked green. useless at this point
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Joseph, pred 25 dňamiim far more likely to run into someone marked red who just happens to be not white, a trans man, intersex, or a combination of the 3 than an actual transphobe
- Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: ambrolen, pred mesiacomIt's been showing more and more bias against trans people who talk about trans masc, nb, and intersex issues (probably more tbh) for years now, but it's getting so bad that I assume a Tumblr blog marked red speaks up for those groups rather than assuming they're a transphobe. I've been keeping it anyway to help me remember which news sites suck, but it's become a detriment. This could have been a good tool, but I guess the mods, or the creator, or both have decided to use it in bad faith against their own community.
