I think if you satisfied their greed and signed up for a monthly subscription, it would work. Without a subscription, it's useless.

I've uninstalled this addon and reinstalled (like instructed) and sites I once WhiteList will reset after a few days. Come on! Let me guess, someone is paying you guys off? What garbage. Enough already. Stop being afraid of Google.

With all of the begging for money (Are these adblocker lists the developer's? I don't think so!), I've given it the heave-ho and replaced it with UBlock Origin. That's a vastly superior Adblocker.
