Converse — Search for Claude Autor: Mehran

Claude's built-in search only matches conversation titles. Converse indexes every message so you can find anything — a piece of code, a specific answer, a draft you wrote three months ago.

HOW IT WORKS
Converse adds a search drawer to claude.ai. When you open it, it syncs your conversations in the background using your existing browser session. Everything is indexed locally in your browser — nothing ever leaves your device.

FEATURES
- Full-text search — searches message bodies, not just titles
- Highlighted snippets — see exactly where the match is in context
- Sort by relevance, date modified, or date created
- Incremental sync — only fetches conversations that have changed since last sync
- Click any result to jump straight to that conversation
- Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+F to open, Escape to close

PRIVACY
No data collection. No external servers. No account required. All indexed data is stored in your browser's IndexedDB and can be cleared at any time from inside the extension.
