    1. New platform support: Bilibili.tv
      By popular request, InterSub now supports Bilibili.tv - one of the largest video platforms focused on anime, Asian content, and creator videos.
    2. AI-powered dual subtitle translation
      Many users asked for a better way to handle mismatched dual subtitles - when the second subtitle track comes from dubbing and differs significantly from the original in wording and timing.

    You can now enable AI-generated second subtitles created on the fly. This provides much closer line-by-line alignment and a more literal translation experience.

    The feature is available in Settings and included in paid plans.

    Fixes & improvements
    • Improved YouTube subtitle loading logic. The new system is slightly slower, but should significantly reduce subtitle loading failures, including “Loading subtitles” and “Your IP was blocked by the service” errors.
    • Fixed subtitle display issues on Amazon Prime, Crunchyroll, and Learn.cantrill.io.

    • new algorithm for retrieving YouTube subtitles. This should reduce the number of download failures and “Your IP is blocked” errors.
    • A new “Translate secondary subtitles on the fly” mode has been added (check Settings). This mode ignores any secondary-language subtitles available in the player and replaces them with an AI translation from the first subtitles. It depends on the availability of external translation services and may not work or may be unstable under certain conditions.

    Upgrades to website word translation:
    * Enhanced overall performance for faster, smoother translations.
    * Added a new smart mode: Translate only on websites in your learning language.

    This means the translation bubble will appear only on pages written in the language you’re learning.
    For example, if your native language is Spanish and you’re learning English, the translation will now only activate on English-language sites. The feature is enabled by default, you can always switch it off in Settings.
