- Updated to Manifest V3 for ongoing Firefox compatibility.
- Smarter tab switching: if you have several ProtonMail tabs open, clicking the button now jumps to the one you used most recently and focuses its window.
- More precise tab matching, so the extension only ever switches to a genuine mail.proton.me tab.
- Reduced permissions: the extension no longer requests broad access. It now asks for access to mail.proton.me only, and only the first time you use it (needed to detect an already-open ProtonMail tab).
- Added an optional keyboard shortcut. Assign your own key in about:addons > gear icon > Manage Extension Shortcuts.
- On first install, ProtonMail now opens automatically instead of showing a notification.
