Sabi Fill is a browser extension designed to help developers and testers quickly fill web forms with realistic test data. This privacy policy explains how Sabi Fill handles data.

Data Collection

Sabi Fill does NOT collect, transmit, or share any user data.

• ❌ No personal information collection
• ❌ No data sent to external servers

Data Storage

All data generated and used by Sabi Fill is stored locally on your device only using browser storage APIs:

• Profile data (names, email domains, custom fields) - stored locally
• Extension settings (active profile, preferences) - stored locally
• Generated test data - created on-the-fly, never stored or transmitted
• Last filled data (optional feature) - stored locally, can be disabled in privacy settings

Your data never leaves your computer.

Permissions Explained

Sabi Fill requests the following browser permissions:

storage

Purpose: Save your profiles and preferences locally on your device
Scope: Local device only, no cloud sync

activeTab

Purpose: Access the current tab to fill form fields when you trigger the extension
Scope: Only the active tab, only when you click the extension icon or use the keyboard shortcut

scripting

Purpose: Inject the form-filling code into web pages
Scope: Required to interact with form fields on web pages

host_permissions (<all_urls>)

Purpose: Allow form filling on any website you visit
Scope: The extension needs permission to access pages where you want to fill forms
Note: The extension only runs when you explicitly activate it - it does not monitor or track your browsing

contextMenus (Chrome/Edge only)

Purpose: Add a right-click menu option for quick access
Scope: Adds menu items, does not access or transmit data

Third-Party Services

Sabi Fill does not use any third-party services, including:

• No analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
• No crash reporting (Sentry, etc.)
• No advertising networks
• No external APIs or web services

License Validation (Pro Version)

The Pro version uses a local, offline license key validation system:

• License keys are validated using a mathematical algorithm entirely on your device
• No license keys are sent to external servers
• No "phone home" or online validation

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Your data is protected by your browser's built-in security
• Data is isolated per browser profile
• Clearing browser data will remove all Sabi Fill data

Children's Privacy

Sabi Fill is intended for developers and testers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
