Browser-only VPN by SecurePaid VPN. Active subscription required.

SecurePaid VPN routes your browser's traffic through a TLS-encrypted
proxy on the exit node you choose, so the sites you visit see the
exit node's IP — not yours. Your operating system's network stack
and other applications stay untouched. Sign in with the same
SecurePaid VPN account you use on the mobile app or website.

A subscription is required to connect. Choose a plan on the website,
then click Connect in the popup.

WHY USE IT

• Privacy without complicated setup. One sign-in, one click, and
you're protected. No proxy dialogs, no PAC scripts, no system-wide
configuration changes.

• TLS-encrypted hop. The connection between your browser and our
exit node is itself wrapped in TLS, so the auth header and the
destination of each request stay confidential on the wire.

• Strict no-logs policy. Our exit-node proxies are configured to
never write per-request data to disk: no timestamps, no source
IPs, no destination hosts, no bandwidth-per-session.

• Auto-disconnect on subscription expiry. The extension re-checks
your subscription every 15 minutes and tears the proxy down
automatically if your plan ends — no surprise unprotected
browsing.

• Same account, every device. Your SecurePaid VPN credentials work
across the iOS app, Android app, this extension, and the web
dashboard.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open the extension popup → sign in with your SecurePaid VPN email
   and password.
2. Choose an exit node (Poland · Warsaw, USA · Miami, with more
   locations launching soon).
3. Click Connect. The extension configures Chrome's proxy settings
   to route every browser request through a TLS-encrypted HTTPS
   proxy on the chosen server.
4. Click Disconnect (or close the popup and let the connection idle)
   when you're done. Your real IP is restored instantly.

WHAT WE COLLECT — AND WHAT WE DON'T

What we DO NOT collect or transmit:
• The URLs you visit
• Page content, form data, browsing history
• DNS queries
• Connection timestamps or session durations
• Your tabs, bookmarks, downloads, or any other browser surface

What the extension stores locally on your device:
• Your authentication token (cleared on sign-out)
• Your email and display name (cached for the popup)
• A randomly generated per-install device ID (so the backend can
enforce a 5-device limit)
• Your last selected server and your settings

PERMISSIONS — JUSTIFIED

• proxy — to point the browser at the chosen exit node.
• webRequest + webRequestAuthProvider — to answer the proxy's
authentication challenge with your credentials, with no UI prompt.
• storage — for the auth token, settings, and the items above.
• alarms — for the 15-minute subscription re-check.
• notifications — optional connect / disconnect toasts (a Settings
toggle turns them off).
• <all_urls> host permission — required because the proxy applies
to every site you visit while connected.

The extension contains no analytics SDKs and no remote-code-loading
mechanisms. Every script that runs is in this package.
