Smart Dial stores your settings and bookmark display preferences locally in your browser using Firefox storage. The extension reads your bookmarks to display them on the new tab page.

To show rich bookmark images and icons, Smart Dial may request metadata, images, and favicons from the websites saved in your bookmarks. It may also request favicons from DuckDuckGo’s icon service using the bookmarked site domain.

Smart Dial does not sell personal data, does not use analytics, does not include advertising, and does not collect data on a remote server controlled by the developer.
