I succeeded to overcome the problem using the 'Update 5/4/19 10:25 AM' approach at https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/software/firefox-addons-being-disabled-due-to-an-expired-certificate/

What you're referring to is related to an issue with an expired certificate in Firefox, causing ALL add-ons to be turned off. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused for you.
