When i look at the log i mostly see e-tag header was removed. I think that is a good thing since i have read that you can be tracked with e-tags. I am not tech savy but i feel sure this extension boost privacy

Best URL privacy cleaner by a long shot, this is the best one, and worst nightmare for the 1 star reviewers.

Would be also useful for shortened URLs for Bitly links and tiny URLs would change to tiny url previews as well.

Thanks for your positive feedback. Unfortunately, it is not possible to unshorten shortened URLs without a server as intermediary. Therefore we have decided against this feature. It seems like every 5 minutes when I open a link, it hangs on me. When opening new tab, I get a yellow banner message which says, " A web page is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do? *Stop It?* or *Wait* buttons. *Stop It* always fixes the problem temporarily but disabling ClearURLs permanently fixes it and I can load new web pages again.

Currently a possible bug is being investigated in connection with ClearURLs and DarkReader. If this does not describe your problem, please open a new ticket on our GitLab page.
