1Password: Password Manager — 1Password

— Uporabnik Firefoxa 16997794, pred 4 letiThe 1Password app and product is great and I've been a user for years and years. However, the latest browser extensions are far too invasive, often blocking the label of the field I'm trying to enter text by hand. E V E R Y field that I am trying to type in. Also, the password generator suggestion does not use the formula that you have in the application, and there seems to be no way to change it in the extension. Please bring back the more user-controlled experience of the previous extension!

objavljeno ob pred 4 letiHey there,
Thank you kindly for your review and feedback!
If 1Password shows up in places you don’t want it to, you can easily dismiss it by pressing ESC on your keyboard or by clicking the little 1Password icon on the right side of the field.
You can also go into the extension’s settings page and turn off the “Show autofill menu on field focus”, which will prevent 1Password from showing up on its own completely.
If you want to set your own passwords formula, you need to do so in the extension itself and not in the desktop app. Here’s how:
Click the extension on the top right corner of your browser to open it, select the big PLUS icon to reveal the menu and choose the “Password Generator”.
While in the generator, change the password type from “Smart Password” to “Random Password”, adjust the recipe as you see fit and when you’re happy with it, make it the default recipe for suggestions. Then 1Password will always suggest passwords based on the recipe you set up.

I don't want a session open to my password manager in my browser. This extension should integrate with the desktop app...not the website. That is how it used to work, if the desktop app was unlocked...the extension worked. Poor browser addon is going to convince me to leave this trash behind...

"Uncaught TypeError: window.crypto.randomUUID is not a function" - Ocenjeno z 1 od 5— Nico, pred 21 dneviThe fact that you have to jump through so many damn hoops JUST to use this thing is needlessly complicated.
And the fact that you *have* to rely on a stupid secret key, or else you're just straight up locked out of the application is horrendously bad design.
Enshittification at its finest. AVOID. - Ocenjeno z 1 od 5— Thomas, pred enim mesecem1Password forces me to press the extension button on my browsers toolbar instead of just being able to press the 1Password button embedded in the password field. 1Password UI hangs over important information in the browser and often covers up the "Show Password" button. The UI is clunky and looks outdated, and frustrating to use. Would not recommend, and have uninstalled the browser extension. I will just use the desktop app.
- Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— MonsterMash, pred enim mesecemBeen using this software for a few years on all my devices. Very reliable and consistent quality and easy to use even with apps on my phone. With the new browser add-on update, I don't have to click the icon in the toolbar so now it matches how it works in the chrome browser. Small but very appreciated update.
- Ocenjeno z 1 od 5— Andy, pred 2 mesecemaThe extension does not respect the "Offer to save logins" switch and prompts me on every. dang. page. load. for sites like the AWS console.
0/10. Super annoying. - Ocenjeno z 2 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 13494206, pred 2 mesecemaI don't want to enter a password every time I open my browser because I open and close my browser multiple times per day & on more than one PC. If there is some other tweak, let me know & I will try it again. But if not, goodbye. I previously had Dropbox Passwords & I did not have to enter a password every time. But Dropbox Passwords is ending soon & they recommended 1Password, but I lost my mind with constantly having to enter the password!

- Ocenjeno z 1 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 19193082, pred 2 mesecemaSame problem others have reported. It no longer works properly in Firefox. I figured out a work-around: If you click the 1-Password add-on and it doesn't work, then turn it off through Manage Extensions (no need to uninstall). Then close Firefox. Re-open Firefox, and turn the 1-Password add-on back on (through Manage Extensions). Then it will work fine until you restart Firefox again. Hopefully they will get this resolved soon...
