Parabéns aos desenvolvedores. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Mofiac, pred 7 leti

- Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— stevansonium, pred 7 letiI am giving this a high rating because it's the best cookie manager in Firefox I've seen that supports Quantum. That said it's far from perfect, just from using it for a couple of minutes:
1) The URL Search does not seem to work, and almost got me to immediately uninstall (fortunately the Domain search works well)
2) The UI is not pretty, but functional (also why does it ask for confirmation to delete a cookie? It's not a big deal if you accidentally delete a cookie anyway)Odgovor razvijalca

Can you share an example of a query, with the expected and actual results?
> 2) The UI is not pretty, but functional (also why does it ask for confirmation to delete a cookie? It's not a big deal if you accidentally delete a cookie anyway)
I am prompting for confirmation because mass-deletion of cookies is a destructive operation. The deletion can be undone via the UI ("Restore"), but I have added a confirmation just in case.
I am wiling to add an option to reduce the number of prompts, if desired.
The review system is not a good place for discussion because of the lack of notifications, so please follow up by mail or Github. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— 熟睡, pred 7 leti

To test this extension, I started by trying to delete expired cookies.
You can select them in the UI and click the "remove selected" button at the bottom and they will be greyed out in the list but that is it. If you refresh the list they are not greyed out any more.
Since there is a "restore selected" button I thought maybe you had to close the tab to complete the delete but that didn't work either. I even set the FF Tracking Protection to Never.
What am I missing????
Looks like V1.4 fixes this issueOdgovor razvijalca
objavljeno ob pred 7 letiWere you trying to delete cookies with a red expiry date?
If not, are you using any non-default browser settings?
If yes, install the latest version (1.4) and try again. As of 1.4 such expired cookies are explicitly deleted if needed. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— DeronLJ, pred 8 letiMuch more detail that the built-in cookie UI. Aware of container tabs, which is a big plus.

EDIT: Updated my rating. Still, I would feel better, if the privacy policy link is updated in the add on descriptions or in the official Mozilla add ons privacy policy section.Odgovor razvijalca
objavljeno ob pred 8 letiEDIT: I added a concise yet complete privacy policy at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/a-cookie-manager/privacy/
I have no explicit privacy policy because the add-on is not collecting any data.
If you would feel better, in absence of an explicit privacy policy, my policy is at https://robwu.nl/privacy/ :

A pop-up UI would be nice instead of enabling / disabling it.
RE: Either one would do.
EDIT: Thanks for taking my suggestion!Odgovor razvijalca
objavljeno ob pred 8 letiDo you mean an extension popup (e.g. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/user_interface/Popups) or a separate tab/window?
Edit: Implemented in version 1.3 - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 13131993, pred 8 letiIt's the only add-on I find to show session cookies in private window but still it can't delete cookies in TorBrowser [7.0.1 (based on Mozilla Firefox 52.2.0) ], throwing this error:
`Cannot modify 1 private cookies because the sites are not reachable. Try to temporarily disable Tracking Protection at Settings > Privacy.`
Tracking Protection is off (It's so by default in TorBrowser). I disabled NoScript but didn't help. Any idea?
UPDATE:
And where is 1.3? :)
UPDATE:
I got 1.3 from git repo and It worked! thanks following this!Odgovor razvijalca
objavljeno ob pred 8 letiThere are a number of issues that cause this problem (the worst one being https://bugzil.la/1381197). I have implemented some work-arounds in version 1.3 so that the extension works in most cases in the TOR Browser . - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 12936698, pred 8 letiFinal edit, sorry for all the edits.
Dev responded to my review and addressed issues mentioned. This Ext works wonders. Super useful IMO! Thanks. Oh.. "Options" still doesnt do anything when touched. Not sure if norm.Odgovor razvijalca
objavljeno ob pred 8 letiI just published a new version which works in Firefox 53 and earlier too.
In Firefox 53 and earlier, WebExtension add-ons cannot open a new tab, so I added an icon to the address bar that opens the tab upon click.
Due to another bug in Firefox (which is fixed in version 55), this icon is visually very small. Put your finger at the bottom-right side of the icon if it is difficult to aim and then the cookie manager will be opened.
PS. The add-on is functional, but the UI can be improved. I just wanted to quickly be able to remove individual private browsing cookies, and did not have time to create a fancy UI yet. Feedback is welcome.
EDIT: "Options" not working is a bug in Firefox for Android, see https://bugzil.la/1302504 .
