The description makes claims that are not so true in the current FF environments (other unloaders don't actually unload) that are easily verified in about:performance and about:memory. Checking those, one can see if the other unloaders work or not.

Annoyingly it does something no other unloader I have tried so far does, marks every tab it unloads as 'updated' in the same way as if the tab had an autorefresh or notification. This makes every tab it unloads look as though a message is pending if you highlight such in any way. UNLOADING SHOULD NOT MARK A TAB AS UPDATED!

Last it misses tabs that based on the setting should most definitely be unloaded. Sometimes even duplicates of the same tab (thus confirming no rule conflicts as it unloads some but not other duplicate identical content tabs).

I use this extension regulary and its the best out there it doesnt get in the way and the shortcut for relaoading all tabs in the current window is superb. will contribute in the near future.

I've only used this extension for 5 minutes and I already love it! Surprisingly, it still works, despite that the last update was 4 years ago. I installed it only because of this option: "Allows for the forced discarding of specified hostnames". And it works better than expected! It doesn't allow opening tabs leading to a specific site. Not just "open and then autoclose the tab", as I thought it would. It plain and simple doesn't allow the tab to be created! <3

Love how it puts a sleep sign on inactive tabs, but when opening a sleeping tab I don't have to click again on the page to open it, the page opens automatically. Well done!

Excelente extensión. Ha liberado el procesador y la ram rápidamente, y tiene muchas opciones para poder configurarla a tu gusto. La recomiendo totalmente. Es brillante. Gracias a su desarrollador, y al equipo que la hace posible.
