This is awesome. I can use Firefox again. I was blocked all the time by silly "human checks". Two possible improvements: make the visual difference mask/nomask easier to see (instead of a small dot), and have a setting for "always on by default on all websites". But those are small things, the extension is great

I won't add a "default on" mode. That should not be needed - most sites do work fine without spoofing as Chrome, and doing a spoof by default will actually expose you to all kinds of breakage. In addition, the Web Compatibility team at Mozilla (of which I am part of!) wants to actively know about sites that DO require us to spoof as Chrome, which is why the addon itself provides two easy ways to report. A "default on" option would not be the right approach.

Thanks for the feedback about the visibility of the indicator. It's kinda hard to find the right balance here, but I have a couple of ideas to try to make it more visible if this comes up more frequently. I'll keep you in mind!

youtube works faster now but the subtitles dont work

Since a few weks it breaks youtube. It manipulates cors in a way that youtube will not load past the minute mark

It makes YouTube usable again for me, but the subtitles are gone.

Doesn't work for Youtube, Google is still maliciously changing the buffering to 3-9secs (same in Edge) vs 10-15secs in Chrome.

EDIT: It now causes videos to break past the minute mark with "Something went wrong" errors.

Overall seems like a good extension but my biggest problem is when used on google for example it requests desktop website instead of mobile we should be able to select whether we want mobile user agent or desktop in extension settings, quite unstable in firefox android because of this reason.

Edit: Developer fixed the issue and thanks to them for responding if they can implement desktop user agent when clicked request desktop site to extension like they have said it will be 5 out 5 extension for now it is 4/5 still very good worth checking out.

Hi there! Sorry for that - I introduced a bug in the version you were using that resulted in Firefox for Android always using a Windows user agent. I fixed that, version 7.0.1 that's just been released, so that Firefox for Android correctly spoofs as Chrome for Android.

I get your wish for a manual mobile/desktop toggle - but I have no plans to introduce that for now. "Desktop mode" exists on Android, and I might explore tightly integrating with that instead.
