It really only cleared your cache, now in version 4.0 it can clear all data from your history such as cookies, forms, etc.

• Clear data ONLY for the active tab / But even is you select "Current Tab Only" - clears data for ALL sites. Almost too well, though -- it would be *AWESOME* if there was an option (enabled by default) that gives a little "Are you sure? All these things will be cleared:" prompt before actually clearing the cache, though. I've accidentally clicked on it when I had dozens of authenticated sessions open and it's a bit of an annoyance to have to go back through them all and log back in. Overall, though, it's exactly what I need for troubleshooting and development work, so highly recommended!
