It is designed to provide a way to download multiple files of those which a website owner has provided for download. It is not designed to detect and download things like YouTube videos which the website owner has not enabled for download. If you can't click to download it using normal browser functions (e.g. click or right-click), you can't download it using DTA. That is not what it was made for. There are others that enable that. With that in mind, this extension is very useful to make downloading multiple downloadable files very easy to do. I especially like the download selection feature.
