Sadly Amazon has been overrun by fake reviews. I wonder may is some of people who get paid to make fake Amazon reviews come here to leave negative reviews.

Extremely good extension! Also very good summaries of reviews! Does not at all remove from the experience of online shopping but add to it!

I have used Fakespot for years and have been pleased with it. I don't have a problem with the permissions granted since I use Firefox and they block Facebook and that is all that I am concerned about. So far I have trusted Fakespot and they have been spot-on. I also have Malwarebytes on my computer and if there was a problem with Fakespot they would alert me. When I have been warned about new sellers I have respected that and then I wait until they have proven themselves to be legitimate.
So, that's why they have earned 5 stars from me. I would give 10 if they were available.

Wish they could be on more websites that sell items
