This used to work really nicely for me, but for some reason it has become very unreliable recently. It often doesn't register the dragging, sometimes opens a new tab, but doesn't open or search the text/link.
I'm not sure if it's a compatibility thing or something because it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, but I'm keeping this add-on as a lay-by reserve.
Hopefully you will update and fix this sometime?

The addon is highly unreliable with most drags not being registered and it creates a blank tab. The author does not respond on github, so the project is as good as dead. Drag links is also dead and hasnt been updated for a year (like this addon) but at least it still works reliably.
