Das Add-on wurde allerdings (laut Kommentaren) vor 1-2 Monaten von der bzgl. Datenschutz verrufenen Firma AVAST gekauft - ohne jegliche Ankündigung/Information für die >300.000 Nutzer!! Ein Unding und Firefox sollte hier reagieren!
Ich bin also rein zufällig darauf gestoßen und deinstalliere das Addon! Stattdessen installiere ich nun den Github-Fork "I still don't care about cookies" von Guus.
Wirklich EMPFEHLENSWERT ist aber: "Consent-O-Matic" von CAVI - Aarhus University !!!
Dieses "Consent-O-Matic" unterscheidet sich vom bloßen teils wahllosen "Wegklicken" der Cookiemeldungen (Tracking durch Cookies trotzdem möglich) bei "IDCAC" durch Analyse der Meldung und möglichst datenschutzkonforme, automatische Auswahl!
