Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
   Jobseeker Intelligence ("JSI", "we", "us") is operated by Eugene Naoumov. We provide a job search and application tracking platform at getjsi.com. Questions about this policy: support@getjsi.com.
2. What data we collect
   Account data: name, email address, username — provided when you sign up via Clerk.
   Profile data: work history, skills, certifications, education, resume content — provided by you.
   Job search data: saved searches, job applications, interaction notes, contacts.
   Gmail data: if you connect Gmail, we read email subjects and senders to detect job-related messages. We do not store full email bodies beyond what you explicitly save.
   Usage data: pages visited, features used, AI feature invocations (token counts only, not content).
   Payment data: billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers. We store your Stripe subscription status and plan.
3. How we use your data
   To provide and improve the JSI service.
   To send transactional emails (account notifications, support replies). We use Resend for email delivery.
   To generate AI-powered features (job match scores, resume tailoring, cover letters) using Anthropic Claude. Your data is sent to Anthropic's API for processing but is not used to train their models per their API policy.
   To detect errors and monitor service health via Sentry. Sentry captures stack traces and anonymized request metadata — never your resume content or personal data.

5. Data retention
   We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained longer.
6. Your rights
   You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@getjsi.com.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

   We use cookies only for authentication (Clerk session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
2. Changes to this policy
   We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
