1. When creating new tab while tabs are split, it adds new to the split containers, visually in sidebar, but the new tab is separate.
2. Unlike Zen's default new tab, it creates a new tab right away rather than after confirming. Which is a bit annoying. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Matthias, pred 2 letoma

I suggest to the author to mention that you can change the hotkey in the Extensions settings (Settings -> Extensions & Themes -> gear icon above the list of extensions -> Manage Extension Shortcuts).
Then to other users I suggest using AutoHotkey (on Linux there is Keysharp or AHK_X11) and reassigning the extension hotkey to Ctrl+T in Firefox. That way you don't need to retrain your muscle memory.
Note: you should probably change the hotkey from Alt+C since that hotkey is used for the Match Case option in the search dialog and will consequently interfere with trying to open a new tab when the search is also open. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Дмитрий, pred 3 leti

Saves thousand of clicks and headaches.
Mac complainers about shortcuts- get a real computer, or CHANGE the shortcut in FF "manage extension shortcuts" (Gear icon, top right of addons page) and give this addon the 5 stars it deserves! - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 15250026, pred 6 leti

- Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Geoffrey Yip, pred 8 letiWorks perfectly for me! Wish I could replace the default Command+T though
- Ocenjeno z 3 od 5— shark_bloody, pred 8 letiAny way to make this the default behavior? I mean, that the extension recognises the last used container, and open any new tab on that container.
- Ocenjeno z 4 od 5— Petre Tudor, pred 8 letipretty sweet. I would have wanted this to be default behavior for any new tab, but this extension does the job

- Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 13514027, pred 8 letiThis is exactly what I needed, but since I'm on Mac... it would be great to be able to change the shortcut, since Alt+C is not natural for us! (at least for me :-P)
- Ocenjeno z 3 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 13395258, pred 8 letiOn Mac, Alt+c works but only if focus is not on a text-entry area. Otherwise the normal Alt+c action types the letter 'ç'. Please change the key combination used on a Mac, or let the user alter it.

Any idea?
