— Uporabnik Firefoxa 15028866, pred 3 letiI like this extension for browsing the web, but when I launch jupyter notebooks from the terminal, I have to disable this addon so it will redirect to the localhost port properly. It would be nice to have a way to add per-site exceptions, or an exception for localhost in general.

objavljeno ob pred 3 letiHey I have a working version of the whitelist in beta. If you'd be interested in testing it out please follow the instructions here https://github.com/ACK-J/Port_Authority/issues/32#issuecomment-1720072034
Edit 3/11/25: Mozilla just approved PortAuthority v2.0.0 which has persistent settings and added the whitelist (gear icon). Enjoy!

I read somewhere that it does the same as ublock origin when it has the block outside intrusion to lan. But i think this extension does so much more than that now when its been updated?Odgovor razvijalca
objavljeno ob pred enim mesecemuBlock origin is a great extension that I personally use. It accomplishes the same goal when configured with the "block outside intrusions to lan" list, but that wasn't always the case. Back when I first created port authority in March 2021 uBlock didn't have a LAN list.
This extension spurred conversation within the community which eventually led to them adding it in November 2021, which I think is pretty cool!

The benefit of port authority is the notifications and UI surrounding which portscanning and lexisnexis requests were blocked. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— kehd, pred enim mesecem

objavljeno ob pred 4 meseciA large update (v2.2.0) is waiting for approval from Mozilla and should be out in a few days with a fix to this problem - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Ysmir, pred 4 meseciThis is a very niche issue that I have encountered, if you have a proxmox server deployed and you have this extension in the browser you use to access it you cannot connect to any console sessions within it, you also cannot connect to the server shell. You will receive undefined (code: 1006) as a error with a TASK ERROR: command '/usr/bin/termproxy 5901 --path /nodes/proxmox --perm Sys.Console -- /bin/login -f root' failed: exit code 1. And if you follow that code like I did all you will find is something about a node being offline, which was a bit of an issue for me as I never had a node to begin with.
