Postilla — hayate

Postilla is a universal commenting layer for the web.
Open the sidebar on any page, news articles, blog posts, product pages, academic papers, and read or post comments. Even when the page itself has no native comment section, Postilla gives it one.
What you can do:

• Post threaded comments on any URL, reply to others, and react with 👍
• Format with Markdown: bold, italic, inline code, links, and code blocks
• Edit or delete your own comments; flag comments for moderation
• See Nearby Discussions — when the current page has no comments yet, Postilla surfaces same-domain links that do, so you can find where the conversation is happening
• Real-time updates: new comments, replies, and reactions appear as they happen
• Notifications when someone replies to you

Designed to respect your attention

• Clean, dark-mode-first sidebar — no clutter, no ads, no tracking beacons
• No browsing-history profile. The extension sends URLs to api.postilla.io only to look up comment counts for the page you're currently viewing and the same-domain links on it. It does not build a profile of your browsing.
• Your account data (email, display name, comment text) is used only to operate the service. Comments and display name are public by design; email is private. See the privacy policy for details.

Why Postilla
The web used to be conversational. Most pages have quietly lost their comment sections to moderation costs and spam. Postilla restores that layer — independent of any one publisher — so you can engage wherever you read.
