What this extension does
Profile Unhider is a Chrome extension that surfaces publicly indexed posts and comments for Reddit users who have set their profile to hidden. It does this by querying Reddit's public search API, which indexes content posted in public subreddits.

Data we collect
We collect absolutely nothing. Specifically:

No personal information is collected or stored
No browsing history is recorded
No analytics or tracking of any kind
No cookies are set
No data is sent to any server we operate
How it works
When you visit a Reddit profile set to hidden, the extension makes direct requests from your browser to Reddit's public search API (reddit.com/search.json). Results are displayed directly in your browser. No data passes through any third-party server.

Data source
All content displayed by this extension comes from Reddit's own public search index. Only content Reddit has already made publicly searchable is shown. This extension does not access, store, or redistribute any private or non-public information.

Third party services
The extension communicates only with Reddit's public API endpoints. No other third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools are used.
