Proton Pass has an attractive front end, but few technical advantages over e.g. Firefox password manager. Most of its fancy features don't work properly. It has many false positives for "re-used passwords" and "weak passwords" making its advice meaningless. I'm hoping it develops more actual function and not just surface buzzword stuff.

Oh, and it's only "free" for basic use. They will *totally* pressure you to buy more services.

Proton Pass is fast, clean, and genuinely easy to get started with. Autofill is reliable, the interface is straightforward, and everything feels thoughtfully designed without unnecessary friction. Big plus for the strong focus on privacy and security. It replaced my previous password manager without any issues.

It mostly works, but has a lot of issues filling in fields correctly.
