Unlike Firefox’s native split view, SideSurf remains visible regardless of the active tab, making it perfect for multitasking, monitoring dashboards, documentation, or mobile previews.

This extension uses the webRequest API in a limited and scoped manner to improve compatibility of embedded content within the sidebar.
All modifications are restricted to sub-frame requests associated with the extension (tabId === -1) and do not affect normal browsing tabs.
No user data is collected, stored externally, or transmitted. All data remains local using Firefox storage APIs.
The extension does not execute remote code.
