VaultMesh — Jon

VaultMesh is a local-first password manager extension for Firefox.
It helps you:
- find matching credentials for the current site
- autofill username and password
- save new login credentials from submitted forms
- copy passwords and one-time codes (TOTP)
- generate strong passwords
VaultMesh is designed to work with the locally installed VaultMesh desktop app through Native Messaging. Your vault is kept encrypted and under your control on your own devices.
Permissions are used only for password-manager functionality:
- host/content script access: detect login forms and perform autofill
- nativeMessaging: communicate with local desktop app
- storage: local settings and fallback local data
- clipboardWrite: copy only when user explicitly clicks copy
