This add-on is the only one I found that does what it does. and the performance has enhanced recently.
sometimes YouTube puts video recommendations/popular videos with annoying or offensive thumbnails and I like the idea that I can remove these from my YouTube homepage without the need to login to YouTube .

It worked for the ONE GODDAMN VIDEO I wanted to block. Why Youtube spams me constantly with the same gross sex music video is beyond me. I only want to listen to, like, normal music. Thank you so much for making my experience 1000% better.

I'm not sure why the other reviews are low, this works with the new YouTube dark theme. I haven't seen any thumbnail problems or stuttering. Latest Firefox version 59 stable.

Finally a way to block channels, it's sad that Youtube hasn't done it natively but that goes to show you just where their priorities are at.... revenue.

1) search for channel name on youtube search.
2) right-click on the name of the channel to block
3) block videos from this channel

Thank you firefox_is_open_source for your comment. I was going to to give up on this add on till i saw your comment.
After all that hard work developer getting bad review because he forget mention it clearly how this work. May be its some thing obivious for user who used this addon previously but no for first time users like me.
Any way thank you Dev for your hadwork. Keep up the good work.

About addon- Works like a charm. You can filter useless you tube garbage through this nicely. After blocking channels, better to add channel name as a keyword for popular channels.
