objavljeno ob pred 4 letiedit: Thank you for sorting that out. I have done some additional validation and found there was an issue with Firefox 85 and earlier. The required permissions to use some API features changed. I have adapted the addon to deal with this issue. Could you please verify if version 1.2.2 is working again or not?
edit: I am using multiple blockers myself and as far as I know they do not affect the working. Does the addon never function or only on a certain page / image? can you verify this by testing it on images on e.g. wikipedia?
Hi, yes something did change. The extension was updated and additional settings have been added. However this should not have had any effect on your experience. There was a minor issue with the initial update however a fix has been released version 1.2.1 is the most recent.
Please try to reset the "webp image converter" configuration in the addon's options page. This page can be reached by either clicking on the browser button on the top right of your browser window. (The button the webp image converter icon as image). Or by navigating to addon management page (enter about:addons in the adressbar) than click on the three dots next to "webp image converter" entry
In the options navigate to the "generic" and switch to a "advanced" mode than hit reset and confirm.
Reconfigure your favorite settings and try again. If the problems keep persisting please let me know

- Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 14286762, pred enim mesecemWorks like a charm, as far as I am concerned.
At first, I thought it was a shame it saved the image in .png but I then realised that plenty of options are available in the extensions parameters.
Marche à merveille, en ce qui me concerne.
Au début je trouvais dommage que l'image soit enregistré en .png pour ensuite réaliser que pleins d'options sont disponibles dans les paramètres de l'extension. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— edenflare, pred 4 meseciSo far so good it works, don't know anything technical but it converts .avif to png format just right click on images and convert and then save location, don't know why .avif even exists it's a stupid format and firefox needs to fix this as I dont really like using alot of addons, it takes up memory in total, but this one is 5 star unless there's an issue in the future at some point.
Programmer deserves donations for this so if you're rich donate to the guy and buy them some coffee and a snack. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Seän Shepherd, pred 5 meseci

- Ocenjeno z 1 od 5— Sporitus, pred enim letomВо-первых, эта приблуда просто не работает. А во вторых, конверция происходит не автоматически, а нужно выбирать отдельную менюшку по правой кнопке. Жутко неудобно

So guess where it was downloaded and where it was not downloaded. A setup!

objavljeno ob pred enim letomThe image that you are trying to download is hosted on a server that uses some kind of hotlink protection. (you can only access it when you are active on certain webstites). unfortunately the nature of this addon makes it incompatible with these kinds of protection. instead of the image you got an error response that resulted in the empty file. - Ocenjeno z 4 od 5— Dill, pred enim letomThis is very useful! However, I really want this to have an option for "convert and copy to clipboard".
Often, when I copy images onto storyboards, the service will compress larger images, destroying their utility for art.
If this extension had a convert + copy button, I'd be able to easily upload the tiny WebP files instead, which aren't compressed.
I know this works because I can do so manually, with `cwebp` on a terminal window. However, that's kind of slow, and it'd be super nice in this extension!
Anyway, I love this extension. Thanks for helping my workflow 🥰Odgovor razvijalca
objavljeno ob pred enim letomThank you for the suggestion, I have looked into the matter and unfortunately Firefox is currently not capable of programmatically copying a webp image to the clipboard. Only png and jpeg formats are supported. - Ocenjeno z 5 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 14855386, pred enim letomVery useful & productive... best converter till now

objavljeno ob pred 2 letomaThank you for using this addon. I have investigated the matter. As far I can verify avif images are converted including those of the site you mentioned. However this site uses a protection to avoid hot linking. To avoid that other websites show images that they are hosting. This causes an issue since it also interferes with the download mechanism of the addon. Fixing this is hard since these kind of measures are site specific. However downloading them reopening and than converting works though this approach defeats the purpose of a single step solution.
