Additionally, those who discuss intersexism or exorsexism are also often needlessly flagged as red, including several intersex transfems I've been following for years.
One look at the social media of the creators shows that they only support a very, very limited portion of the trans community, and are actively bigoted towards everyone else.
At best this extension has become a tool for petty discourse, and is now next to useless for identifying actual transmisogynists or transphobes. - Vlerësuar me 5 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga Charlie, 7 orë më parë

Intersex people in particular have been consistently marked as unsafe for no discernible reason, making the extension effectively useless.

Oh, it also includes okra, like the plant. The wikipedia page for it is apparently transphobic. More likely it's because they use a bloom filter for the "database".
For the uninitiated, a bloom filter is a math model designed to enable you to skip particularly expensive operations on a computer. Importantly, it's explicitly acknowledged to create false positives, which is okay if it means you'll do some extra processing on a CPU sometimes, but is not at all okay if you are marking people/okra as ideological friends/enemies. - Vlerësuar me 1 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga spuddles, një ditë më parëweird as hell for flagging ppl who talk abt intersex struggles and all that. miss when u used to be trustworthy.
- Vlerësuar me 1 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga ARandomAddOnsUser, një ditë më parëIn addition to them marking any talk of transmascs or transmen, intersex issues, etc as terfs, they're now flagging nonbinary people for talking about the issues and oppression we face as nonbinary people as terfs. whoever is in charge of this extension has completely lost the fucking plot
- Vlerësuar me 1 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga 19023408 përdoruesi Firefox-i, një ditë më parëIt's really cool that this extension labels intersex people talking about their personal reality as queer people as "transphobia". No, that's really cool: I also liked the part where it labels trans men talking about their personal experiences with targeted transphobia as being transphobic themselves. That was awesome! I'm really glad that this tool of trans safety has become an active proponent of hatred against certain trans people. It makes me really happy to see infighting tearing apart the community. I'm so glad that while my legal existence is being destroyed, I can get online and notice that people who casually discuss bigotry against trans men & mascs are now considered transphobic by certain members of our community. That makes me feel really safe! Cool fucking extension, assholes!

- Vlerësuar me 5 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga Ash the Yggdrasil, 2 ditë më parëHello. I am transfeminine. I ask you read this review before continuing to read any others.
Many of the people rating this as "five stars" claim transmisogyny and "review bombing."
It is not review bombing. Most, if not all, of the one-star reviews are valid concerns and I have witness the things the one-star reviews are talking about with my own eyes. The people giving out one star reviews are not being transmisogynist. The fact that my own sisters in the trans community will claim such of people actually having grievances and struggles of their own appalls and disgusts me.
Most of the one-star reviews are discussing experiencing "transandrophobia," intersexism, and even racism at the hands of the developers of this extension. They speak of many people being completely, unfairly, and unjustly marked red, and I have seen this happening more and more often, and I find more and more people being marked green purely on the basis of being a trans woman.
This is actually a one-star review, but I wanted to put this here to challenge the people in the 5-star section having the disgusting gall to call our trans siblings "transmisogynist" for the mere fact that they are not trans women themselves.
And if one such reviewer is reading this...
Do better. I know you can. - Vlerësuar me 5 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga PunishdSqrrl, 3 ditë më parëthis app is working as intended and being review bombed for it.

Plenty of trans friendly people are flagged for seemingly no reason? I've seen many people flagged as anti trans for talking about butterflies (but-terf-lies). I've also seen plenty of people who have been extensively transphobic get pardoned from reports. It doesn't help that there's seemingly no way to provide evidence when reporting so if someone sufficiently posts about something else before getting reviewed, they're can avoid being marked. I'm not sure how this moderation process is working anymore.

Now, it's marking a lot of queer, trans, and intersex people red just because they disagreed with the creators about stuff like "can intersex people be trans" and "do transmen face oppression" and "is it okay to misgender non-binary people and call them slurs when they annoy you".

- Vlerësuar me 1 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga ryandavidson417, 12 ditë më parëI used to very strongly appreciate this extension as a way of letting trans people easily identify transphobes who were actively harmful to our community. Unfortunately it's fallen victim to the all too common trend in our community to segment and divide ourselves rather than working together to keep each other safe.
While I don't mean to diminish the (still very important) conversations regarding inter-community transphobia and failings, it's counterproductive to dismiss and ostracize our own community members. Even if they don't share your opinion on how transphobia applies to one group of trans people vs another, it's important to still stand with them against the people who actively want to eradicate us. Moreover, writing any queer person off as persona non grata is only going to further prevent any productive discussion from actually happening.
Direct discussions about inter-community bigotry are important and healthy. Claiming that trans people are anti-trans for having their own opinion in these discussions is not. I know I'm just some shmuck on the internet and this unlikely to actually get read by anyone doing the mark bombing nonetheless change their mind. But you're actively ruining a valuable tool meant to help us stay safe from the people who hate us. Please reconsider.
And if the Mods of this extension are reading this, consider a new policy for filtering out bad faith reviews, or at least indicating when the label is controversial. I know many trans people who are marked as red, and have been asking for people to refute that rating, but the current system still provides too much weight to whichever side submits more votes, when it should at least indicate the uncertainty. - Vlerësuar me 1 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga Themis, 13 ditë më parëTrans men and intersex individuals airing their grievances about how there is rampant infantilzation of these communities in our queer online spaces is not anti-queer. The word "transandrophobia" being used to describe the horrible treatment the queer community gives to our brothers is not anti-queer.
- Vlerësuar me 5 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga death2germany, 13 ditë më parëthose complaining about it 'incorrectly' marking trans men are simply transmisogynists. going to their blogs on tumblr they're either tmras or cryptoterfs, almost all subscribing to """"transandrophobia"""". this app works as intended, with transfeminists rightfully marked green.
- Vlerësuar me 1 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga Toby, 14 ditë më parëPinning people as transphobes for talking about intersexism is insane. Same for transmascs being marked unsafe for just talking about their oppression.
- Vlerësuar me 1 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga Perrio, 14 ditë më parëIt used to be very useful. Now I just keep it as a joke.
It allows people that say super transphobic things to be marked as green. I've seen people who use slurs like "theyfab" "zippertits" etcetera be marked as trans-friendly.
On the flipside, it also marks a lot of trans-masculine people as transphobic for just discussing the ways in which they've been hurt by transphobia. The people I've seen are not transphobic, they're literally speaking against transphobia. It is confusing and I don't understand why they're being marked red.
I've also seen a lot of intersex people and intersex activists be marked as red too, even ones that are trans themselves or are very pro-trans. I'm intersex and this concerns me a lot.
I don't understand why it's like this now. It used to be so much more useful, but now it seems like it's been hacked by transphobes or something.
Huge shame.
