    Thanks for reporting this. I just released an update to address the recent issues, but the extension now requires users to enter a personal YouTube Data API key. Instructions for setting up a free YouTube Data API key, and an explanation for why this is required, can be found here:

    Hi, I've been thinking for a long time now that it would be really nice of there was an option to also show like-to-view ratio (as percentage), or even dislike-to-view ratio. It's surprisingly important and in many cases better metric to measure video success. You could display it in the same info box with the the like ratio when you hover mouse over the like-dislike bar.

    Occasionally and unpredictably stops displaying the ratings bars (maybe a YouTube API quota issue per the 0.0.42 release notes?) but this add-on is otherwise very well designed and has no doubt saved me hundreds, if not thousands, of wasted clicks and page loads over the past year or two.

    I used Ratings Preview for YouTube™ for the longest time; and after a year since its last update, today the extension no longer works—RIP.

    So very thankful that people like the author of this add-on exist in the world. This is something I have been wanting for a while. It seems like YouTube is intentionally hiding these sorts of useful details in an effort to keep the least useful, biggest waste of a time videos on their recommended videos areas. I am glad to see there is at least one other person who wanted to step up and offer the world what YouTube simply refuses to offer, a well designed site.
