Good for saving resources without needing to close tabs completely. However There seems to be a bug with the way the "Discard All Other Tabs" function works.

It appears to respect the whitelist and blacklist features of the addon like auto-discarding does. I suspect that this isn't the intended behavior, because discarding tabs using "Discard Tab" ignores the lists. This is what I expected with "Discard All Other tabs" because it's being done manually just like "Discard Tab" is. Because it doesn't ignore them, I initially thought that this function just didn't work at all.

If it is the intended behavior for "Discard Tab" to ignore the lists but "Discard All Other Tabs" to respect them, it should be more clear about that. I'd also like the option for it to ignore the lists just like "Discard Tab" does, since I feel like this makes more sense, and is more useful.

The only other problem I have is that putting a discarded tab into focus automatically reloads the tab. This is pretty inconvenient and I'd much rather have the tab stay discarded until I manually reload it, or something like that.

    works fine for the most part, but as of a couple days ago youtube tabs won't automatically discard any more when first opened, which is what I mainly use this for. Other than that I've not had any other real problems with this.

    Edit: I originally gave this a three star review for the above issue, but it turns out Auto Tab Discard was interacting with UBlock Origin in a weird way and it was only when UBlock was active that I had this problem on youtube. I just opened the UBlock settings, unchecked the "uBlock filters – Quick fixes" box, applied changes, rechecked the "uBlock filters – Quick fixes" box, and clicked "Update Now" and Auto Tab Discard works perfectly for me again

    Az újabb Firefox nem kezeli jól a memóriát és elképesztően sokat zabál (belőle) így aki úgy használja amiben ez a böngésző eredetileg a legjobb volt, tehát sok ablak = lap = fül = tab akkor ez neki való mert az inaktívak nem használnak memóriát és így végre újra a régi az élmény.

    I'm a little bit of a tab hoarder... And that results in all of my 32GB of RAM filling up all the time. Then I need to close the browser and open it again, to free up my RAM. My next planned step before knowing about this extension was to buy more RAM.

    But this extension fixes the problem. All tabs that are not used just get their resources freed after some time. How this is not a standard feature in Firefox baffles me... So it goes without saying; This is a great extension!

    I've found Auto Tab Discard very useful for many years. It keeps my browser running smooth, even when I've got upwards of 400 tabs open.

    Everything works for me (that I've set it up for) except the option to discard pinned tabs on startup. Logs just say it's not ready. But, this add-on seems to be abandoned atm :(
