    Wow.. as many others wrote, this extension was the only reason I had to use chrome, was missing it so much in firefox. Other addons are nowhere near to this... I am so happy it is now finally available, bye bye chrome !

    I gave 3 stars, because it loses connection very often for me... Sometimes it works for hours perfectly, but often when If I click on the icon to view emails, only the Refresh/Sign In window appears :

    "TypeError: can't access dead object
    Refresh or try signing out/in or add account"

    I have to refresh manually to see the new messages, because it still shows the outdated number of unread mails.

    I dont know if others have this problem too, but thank you for this addon anyway, it is still #1 on chrome :)

    I've fixed all these issues in my local version but it's been taking almost a month for the Firefox team to approve my updates - whereas in Chrome it takes 30 minutes!

    I'll have to refer you to the Chrome extension until they approve the update. Just to give you an idea the Chrome extension is already 10 versions into the future https://jasonsavard.com/wiki/Checker_Plus_for_Gmail_changelog

    I've had to reduce the compatibility back to Firefox 52 please don't rate me on this but rather the Firefox approval process.

    При добавления аккаунта Mozilla не отвечает идет зависание,но если зайти в настройки mozill в плагины и добавить аккаунт отуда то зависание не происходит,также Мозилла зависает когда хочешь удолить письмо.....очень сильное зависание

    When I switched to Firefox 2 years ago this extension was the only thing I missed. I very nearly couldn't switch because this extension is so good. So glad it's here now. If you're looking for a gmail extension, look no further. All the others (and I tried EVERY one) don't come close to the ease of use found here.

    if someone had a problem with the extension, it will not work as it should suggest:
    1. Press the menu button New Fx Menu and then help
    2. From the Help menu, select the Information for Technical Support
    3. Press the Reset Firefox in the right upper corner of the page with information for technical support.

    Esta misma extensión en Chrome es muy buena, de las mejores, pero en Firefox se notan las carencias del programador en este entorno porque es una extensión muy pobre.

    Jason, thank you for finally jumping on the Firefox boat. I'm one of those who donated for the Chrome extension, even though I didn't really need the extra features. I was desperate to ditch Chrome but for a long time the lack of this extension on Firefox prevented me from making the switch. That's how convenient it is.

    Awesome, since the Firefox team finally decided to borrow a similar extension framework from Chrome it made the transition much easier. Thanks for taking the time to write a great review.

    This piece of software was the only reason which prompted me to use Chrome some time ago. It's now available on Firefox which provides an even better user experience. Many thanks to the developper for thiswork and the Mozilla team for ongoing efforts necessary to facilitate the port from Chrome to Firefox. Best addon ever for me!

    The only reason I was using the other browser was because of this awesome Add-ons and sadly it wasn't available on Firefox, but now I can finally use Firefox as my main browser and get to use Checker Plus for Gmail \o/ WebExtensions FTW! I love how I can do everything in one place and get notified whenever I received an email and the best part is having a unified inbox at glance! 5 stars is not enough TBH. Thanks!
