    Very low value on the Mac. Shortcut key is set to F7 which is useless. First of all F* type shortcuts on the Mac are somewhere between painful and really painful depending on the Mac model. Second F7 seems to already bound to "caret browsing" in Firefox for the Mac.

    What about the "context menu" you say? Using this add-on's context menu is about the same pain level as other solutions to getting rid of formatting. So using the context menu does not justify installing this add-on.

    Finally, you can set your own shortcut key, but all the obvious ones are already locked up by Firefox or its Developer Tools and can't be disabled as far as I can tell.

    Even if you are willing to suffer the pain of using this add-on, it frequently barfs up error messages and fails to work.

    So the net-net is that this extension really has no value for Mac users. Why is such a useless add-on being recommended by Mozilla? Based on the recommendation I installed it and wasted a few hours trying to get it to do anything useful before uninstalling it. Not the experience one would expect from a Mozilla recommended add-on.

    Probably the add on I use the most. It copies the text you need without brakes, text styles or other strange things.

    I have always loved this app. I find it indispensable , I Use it to save useful articles to documents and or email without all the pictures , links and ads.

    Please consider adding an option to copy the text automatically when it's selected. There are other addons that do this but this would combine plaint text copying and autocoping on selection.

    The feature needs to be discussed and may not be popular as such action will delete previously copied text. Imagine copying text from a page and you want to paste it in another page and accidental mouse text highlight (or select to replace) will delete the previously copied text.

    For those seeking the Ctrl V replacement, its not possible. You could try other software like PureText. But you will have to assign a different shortcut, for security reasons windows, neither your A/V, will like a program modifying your default paste.
    My solution is to use a mouse with side buttons and then configure those to use the "custom paste".
