The d-AI-logue assistant extension offers a user interface contained in a browser “sidebar”, an area appearing next to a Web page. The user is able to customise this user interface according to their preferences. Available settings include the ability to select a light/dark theme (defaults to “auto”, trying to decide on a light/dark theme based on browser settings), the ability to show/hide the “header” (the top toolbar) and whether it can be “fixed” or “static”, the ability to control the navigation within the d-AI-logue extension, by selecting between a sidebar or a top-level menu, the ability to show the user menu, and the ability to set the text direction (left-to-right/right-to-left). Settings are stored in the browser’s cache and are remembered until the d-AI-logue extension is uninstalled.
