This add-on is really great for people like me who prefer to use dark mode/themes all over. My OS is also always on High Contrast with White text on Black backgrounds. Firefox's Colors doesn't help much because most websites are simply useless when viewed with overridden dark colors and High Contrast. So I thank the developer for really good and useful work!
However there seem to be issues with some sites (bugzilla.mozilla.org is completely dark with nothing visible; GitHub fares a little better but still unusable). Performance is also a big hindrance - page loads and scrolling are completely off with this extension enabled. I presume the Chrome version may not have these issues but I prefer Firefox and would like to see this extension working well with it.

I can't help but assume there is a bug, but while Dark Reader works as advertised, it completely destroys performance. I'm using a 2017 Macbook Pro and viewing even the simplest pages result in extremely laggy scrolling, page load, and even closing Firefox sometimes hangs. I initially assumed it was a problem with Firefox, but as soon as I removed Dark Reader, everything was fine again.

This is a great extension that makes websites look great, but on Filter+, I can't see anything on sites like GitHub and with Static Theme, some input boxes, like on Google and DuckDuckGo have strange formats.

WOW! This extension makes viewing like, no pun intended, night and day. I have some vision issues and read a great deal of text on line. This makes everything so much more readable. Thank you.

this addon caused the top bottom button to follow the page when scrolled up/down
kindly fix if possible. Otherwise its a great addon.

Thank you for porting. Slight problem with Facebook Chat windows though. They bounce to the bottom of the page, and I can't catch up with them no matter how far down I scroll. Facebook also has numerous other problems related to scrolling (for example, chat options on the bottom right corner bounce to the bottom with the chat windows) and Facebook posts tend to bounce up and down too. Would be great if this could be fixed!

EDIT: Oh, and Outlook is completely unusable.

Dark Reader was already my favorite dark theme on Chrome.
Though the firefox version is a little more buggy, It's still superior to the other I've found.

No other dark reader holds a candle to this. OWL etc are awful and so user unfriendly compared. The color inversion is also vastly superior to it's alternatives.

I think this extension is beautiful!! Ever since we lost all of the complete themes ( Dark Fox, V2, Red Shift, etc.), from Firefox, I have been seriously missing the dark background themes I liked soooo much!
This takes it all back, and even goes one better, I think.....Very Nice work!

I loved this extension on chrome and used to use it all the time. However, on Firefox, this thing absolutely shreds my CPU. When loading a new page or toggling the dark-mode on, it will spike to ~80% CPU usage for several seconds, and cause my entire browser to hang (note that this is on a 5th gen i7). I don't care for extensions that abuse my CPU power. This extension never used to be like this, but I've had to stop using it.

I used this extension in chrome at work and loved it. Seems much more reliable than other dark theme extensions - has built-in custom profiles and easy hotkeys to turn it on/off, with white/blacklisting to boot. Now that it's available for FF I'm happier than ever with my browsing experience.
